I set my desired temperature at 24 Degrees but the LED indicator goes back to 29 Degrees.

The temperature displaying (29^oC) on the led display panel is the initial room temperature. For the unit to achieve your desired temperature, allow the room to cool down first. You will notice a decrease in temperature as it reaches your desired set temperature of 24 ^oC.
